We can help Ukrainians affected by the war through the Caritas Finland. Caritas organisations are helping thousands of internally displaced persons who are now desperately seeking shelter both in Western Ukraine and abroad. The two Caritas organisations are providing up-to-date information on the situation, food, drinking water and personal hygiene items, as well as a safe place to sleep, eat and wash. Caritas staff and volunteers also provide safe transport for displaced families. We can make a donation on the Caritas website www.caritas.fi/lahjoita or directly to the Caritas bank account. More information on the notice board.

Caritas Finland’s Lenten Collection supports the livelihoods and food security of nomadic women in the province of Turkana, Kenya. The region is one of the poorest in Kenya and the threat of famine is constantly present.
