A short Finnish course for English speakers who would like to improve their vocabulary of the Holy Mass and prayers will continue on Tuesday 1.10. at 6.45 pm in the parish hall.

There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday 4.10. in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration starts after the evening Mass and will last till 10 pm.

There will be a Mass in Hyvinkää on Saturday 5.10. at 4 pm in the Old church (Vanha kirkko).

We invite all young people aged 13 to 19 years old to a meeting on Saturday 5.10. at 6 pm in the parish hall.

To celebrate the anniversary of our parish, a drawing and logo design competition is organised. There are three categories:

1. for children under 12 years old, a drawing competition on the theme of “Me, my family and St. Mary’s church”
2. for young people aged 13-19 years old, a design competition on the logo of St. Mary’s parish anniversary
3. for adults, a design competition on the logo of St. Mary’s parish anniversary.

Finished works can be submitted either in person at the office or by e-mail to maria@katolinen.fi, by 31.10.2024.

The Legion of Mary gathers every Monday after the evening Mass in the parish hall.

A language course for English speakers who wish to improve their Finnish for masses and prayers will continue on Tuesday 17.9 at 6.45 pm in the parish hall.

The Life in the Spirit seminar will begin on Friday 20.9. after evening mass in the parish hall. The seminar is an opportunity to strengthen own faith and learn about the Holy Spirit. The seminar consists of seven sessions including worship, teaching, testimonies, group discussions and prayer.

The First Communion and Confirmation classes in English will begin on the 21st of September at 10.30 in the parish hall.

There will be a youth meeting on Saturday 21.9. at 6 pm in the parish hall.

There will be a Catechesis in Finnish for preschool children on Sunday 22.9. at 10 am in the parish hall.
