A novena prayer is organised before the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The novena will begin on Wednesday 18.6. after the evening mass. On Wednesday, prayer will take place in the parish hall and on the other days in the church. On the last day of the novena, Thursday 26 June, there will be an all-night adoration. The Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ will be celebrated on Sunday 22 June. The main Mass will begin at 10.00 and will be followed by a Eucharistic procession to the English School and back to church. There will be no Mass at 11.30. There will be a Mass in Tagalog at 1 pm, in Polish at 4 pm and in English at 6 pm.

Our parish is organizing a Jubilee pilgrimage on Saturday 5.7. The pilgrimage will be a 26 km walk from the former Carmelite monastery in Myllyjärvi to St. Henry’s Cathedral. The pilgrimage starts at 8:30 am with Morning Prayer and ends in the evening at the cathedral. More information on the notice board and on the website.

A pilgrimage on foot to the place where St. Henry was killed in Köyliö starts on Friday, June 13^th, and lasts three days. More information on the notice board. The pilgrimage by bus is on Sunday 15.6. The bus leaves at 9:00 am from St. Henry’s Cathedral. Registration at the St. Henry’s parish office.

“Evening music for the Blessed Virgin Mary” – concert will take place on Monday 26.5. at 7 pm. in our church. Three choirs of our parish will sing beautiful songs. Welcome!

Lectio Divina – Bible sharing group will gather on Tuesday 27.5. after the evening Mass in the parish hall.

The Ascension of the Lord solemnity will be celebrated on Thursday 29.5. There will be Mass in Finnish at 10 am, Mass in Finnish for children at 11.30, Mass in Polish at 4 pm and Mass in English at 6 pm. All Catholics are obliged to attend the Mass on Thursday.

A small exhibition “Eucharistic Miracles Around the World and Eucharistic Testimonies and Experiences in the Parish of St. Mary” will be organized in honor of the Corpus Christi celebration. We ask parishioners to anonymously write their own experiences of the Eucharist and Adoration in the feedback box in the church lobby by June 8th.

The Charismatic prayer meeting “Hearts on Fire” takes place again on Friday 23.5. after the evening Mass in the parish hall.

On Saturday 24.5. at 6 PM, there will be a youth evening for teenagers in the parish hall. Weather permitting, we’ll later move to Valpuri Park.

There will be a First Communion feast in English on Sunday 25.5. during the Mass at 1 pm.
