We will celebrate the Presentation of the Lord feast on Saturday, 2nd of February. It is also a day of consecrated life. Mass in Finnish at 9.30 am. Please bring a candle on that feast as there will be a blessing of candles at the beginning of the Mass.

You can bring to the church palm branches which were blessed last year on the Palm Sunday.

A week of prayers for the unity of Christians has begun last Friday. The Finnish Ecumenical Council needs our financial support; we can put our donations into a box at the back of the church on your right during the week of prayers.

We will celebrate the feast of the conversion of St. Paul on Friday.

The World Youth Day (WYD) is organized this year in Panama. Because it is so far away there will be a vigil for all youngsters and young adults from Finland, with the aim of sharing together, buildign community, and joining in prayer with our brothers and sisters who will be in Panama. The event will take place on the next Saturday and Sunday, 26-27th of January. It will begin on the next Saturday at 4 pm in the parish hall. More information on the following page:

We will celebrate the solemnity of St. Henry on the next Saturday, Mass in Finnish begins at 11 am.

There is a custom that a priest visits every family every year. Feel free to invite a priest to visit and bless your home.

Stickers and prayers for the yearly home blessing are available in the porch. At the beginning pray together the Our Father and Hail Mary prayer, one reads the prayer of blessing and fixes the sticker. Donation for a sticker is 2 Euros to support the missionary work of the church.

The Holy Mass in English mostly attended by Catholics from Africa will be celebrated from now on Sundays at 1 pm. The Holy Mass in Tagalog will be celebrated at 2.30 pm on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.

A marriage course will be organized for those who plan to get marry next year. The course will begin on Tuesday, the 8th of January 2019 in the parish hall of St. Henry’s cathedral at 7 pm.
