During the Advent we support those in need. The Advent Collection 2018 of Caritas Finland supports young girls’ life skills and empowerment in high schools in the Philippines. We can send our donations directly to the bank account of Caritas or we can put our donations into the collection box at the back of the church on your right

The parish council will gather on Tuesday 4.12 after the evening Mass.

We will celebrate the anniversary of Finland’s independence and the anniversary of the dedication of our church on Thursday, 6.12: Mass in Finnish at 10 am and at 6 pm.

We will celebrate the commemoration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, 7.12. The adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will start after the evening Mass and will last till midnight.

There will be the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday, 8.12. Masses in Finnish at 9.30.

Bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will bless a Catholic graveyard as part of the Malmi graveyard in Helsinki. The blessing will take place on Saturday, 8.12, at 12.00.

There will be a rehearsal of Christmas play for children on Saturday, 8.12 at 2 pm. More details on the information board.

A marriage course will be organized for those who plan to get marry next year. The course will begin on the 8^th of January 2019 in the parish hall of St. Henry’s cathedral at 7 pm.

Elders and homebound persons can ask a priest to visit them at home and to bring the Holy Communion. Contact our parish office.
