We rejoice that on Sunday 27^th of September 2026, the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus welcomes a new beatified member, Father Martino Capelli SCJ. Father Martino served in northern Italy in an area occupied by Nazi German forces, assisting local residents, and suffered martyrdom on 1 October 1944. We ask for his intercession.

There will be a meeting of our social media communication team on Monday 28^th of September in the parish hall after the evening Mass.

The Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, Archangels, is on Tuesday 29 September.

There will be a Bible sharing group on Tuesday 29.9. in the parish hall after the evening Mass.

The family club for parents and children aged 0–5 meets in St Mary’s parish hall on Thursdays from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm. Further information is available on the noticeboard.

The Lay Dehonians’ meeting will take place on Thursday 1^st October in the parish hall after the evening Mass.

The Legion of Mary group meets on Thursdays in the parish hall after the evening Mass.

The first Friday of the month is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Consequently, there will be Adoration after the evening Mass until 10.00 pm.

Confirmation instruction in Finnish continues on Saturday 3^rd October, starting exceptionally at 10.00 am.

A Catholic Charismatic gathering, “My words are spirit and life”, will take place in our church on Saturday 3^rd October starting at 1.00 pm. The programme includes praise and worship, teaching on hearing God’s voice, quiet Adoration, and Mass at 6.00 pm. Registration link on the parish website — everyone is warmly welcome.

Mass in Hyvinkää will be celebrated on Saturday 3^rd October at 4.00 pm in the Old Church (Vanha kirkko).

A preparatory meeting for World Youth Day will take place at St Henry’s Cathedral on Saturday 3^rd October starting at 12.00 noon. The event is open to all young people.
