The Legion of Mary group gathers on Mondays in the parish hall after the evening Mass.

We will celebrate the Presentation of the Lord feast on Friday, 2nd of February. It is also a day of consecrated life. There will be Mass in Finnish at 7.30 am and 6 pm. Please bring a candle on that feast as there will be a blessing of candles at the beginning of the Mass.

There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday 2.2 in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the evening Mass and will last till 10 pm. The Charismatic group and the Lay Dehonians will lead the prayers.

A meeting for the youth 13-19 years old will take place on Saturday 3.2 at 6 pm in the parish hall.

There will be Mass in Russian on Sunday 4.2. at 1 pm. and Mass in Swedish at 2.30 pm.

It is possible to pay the collection or candle fee using an application called MobilePay using the number 47373.

You can bring to the church palm branches which were blessed last year on the Palm Sunday.

The Sunday of the Word of God, celebrated on the 21st of January, reminds us to read the Bible every day and meditate on it.

A week of prayers for the unity of Christians has begun on Thursday 18th of January. More information on the website ekumenia.fi. Let us remember to pray for the unity of Christians. We invite children from 5 to 8 years old to a Sunday school in Finnish. The meeting will take place on Sunday 14.1 at 10 am in the parish hall.

Stickers and prayers for the yearly home blessing are available in the porch. At the beginning pray together the Our Father and Hail Mary prayer, one reads the prayer of blessing and fixes the sticker. Donation for a sticker is 2 Euros to support the missionary work of the church.

On Sunday 31.12 we thank God for the past year 2023. We thank our church workers, all volunteers and parishioners for their service, prayers and witness of faith.

The solemnity of Mary, Mother of God and the beginning of New Year will be celebrated on Monday 1.1. We will ask God’s blessing for the New Year. All Catholics have a privilege and the obligation to attend the Mass on Monday and on Saturday 6.1 – the Epiphany of the Lord.
