On the Christmas Day, Monday 25.12 there will be Mass in Finnish at 10 am, bishop’s Mass at 12 o’clock, Mass in Polish at 4 pm and Mass in English at 6 pm.

Stephen’s feast will be celebrated on Tuesday 26.12. There will be Mass in Finnish at 10 am and Mass in Vietnamese at 11.30. There will be no Mass in the evening on Tuesday.

The Holy Family feast and the last day of this year will be celebrated on Sunday 31.12.

The time of the celebration of the Mass in Swedish will change in January. The Mass in Swedish will be celebrated on the first Sunday of a month at 2.30 pm. We hope that the Swedish speaking parishioners will attend this Mass actively. Mass in Finnish for children will be celebrated on that Sunday at 11.30.

Two week-long pilgrimages will be organised next spring, to Poland and Bavaria. The trip will be led by our parishioner, Dr. Emil Anton, Doctor of Theology. The price of the trips is 1400-1500 Euros per person and there is a capacity of 20 people per trip. Registration is now open. More information on the notice board.

We thank parishioners who helped last Saturday cleaning in the church, building the crib and cleaning snow around the church.

There will be a catechism class for adults in English on Thursday 21.12 after the evening Mass in the parish hall.

Charismatic prayer group will gather on Friday 22.12 after the evening Mass in the parish hall.

On the next Sunday 24.12: There will be morning Mass in Finnish at 10 am, Mass in Vietnamese at 11.30, the Christmas Eve Mass in Finnish for children in Finnish at 2 pm. All children who would like to participate as angles and shepherds in this Holy Mass please come to the parish hall at 1 pm. There will be Mass in Tagalog at 4 pm, Mass in English at 6 pm, the Christmas Eve Mass in Finnish at midnight, half an hour before midnight we will sing Carols.

The feast of the dedication of our church and the Finnish Independence Day will be celebrated on Wednesday 6.12. The Holy Mass will begin at 10 am. The Cantores Minores Alumni choir will sing during the Mass. There will be no evening Mass on Wednesday.

The solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on Friday 8.12. There will be Mass in Finnish at 7.30 am and 6 pm.

There will be a meeting of a charismatic prayer group on Friday 8.12 after the evening Mass in the parish hall.

There will be the Vesper prayer in Latin on Saturday 9.12 at 3 pm, afterwards the Rosary and the Tridentine Mass at 4 pm.

We invite children to a Sunday school in Finnish. The meeting will take place on Sunday, 10.12 at 10 am in the parish hall. There will be the Holy Mass in Finnish for children at 11.30 am. We invite all children to a rehearsal of the Christmas play on Sunday 10.12 after the Mass for children about 12.30 in the church.

There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday 1.12 in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the evening Mass and will last till 10 pm.

There will be a meeting for the youth on Saturday 2.12 at 6 pm in the parish hall.

The new bishop Raimo Goyarrola will celebrate solemn Mass in our church on Sunday 3.12 at 10 am.

International Youth Cooperation Finland is organizing a campaign to give Christmas presents to children in Mexico and Peru. More information on the notice board.

We invite children to participate in the Christmas play. The rehearsal will take place on the 10th of December after the Mass for children.
