There will be the commemoration of St. Augustine, bishop and doctor of the church, on Monday 28.8. The commemoration of the martyrdom of St. John the Baptist will be on Tuesday 29.8.

All evening Masses on weekdays will be celebrated in Finnish.

There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the next Friday 1.9 in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the Mass and will last till 10 pm.

There will be a meeting for the youth on Saturday 2.9 at 6 pm in the parish hall.

If your child in the third grade or older has not yet received his/her First Communion, please register him/her for the First Communion preparation class in Finnish. We ask the parents of all youngsters in the eighth grade to register their teenagers for the preparatory course for the Sacrament of Confirmation in Finnish. Mass in Tagalog will be celebrated on the second and fourth Sunday of September at 1 pm.

There will be a March for life on 23^rd of September. It will begin at the Senate Square at 2 pm.

The memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on Tuesday 22.8 and the feast of St. Apostle Bartholomew on Thursday 24.8.

We invite children from 5 to 8 years old to a Sunday school in Finnish. The meeting will take place on Sunday 27.8 at 10 am in the parish hall. There will be the Holy Mass in Finnish for children at 11.30 am.

The Diocesan Feast will be celebrated on Saturday 19th August 2023 in Turku. Our parish organises a bus transport, the bus fare is 25 €. The bus will leave at 8:30 in front of our church. There are still free spaces on the bus. You can sign up at the parish office maria(ät)katolinen.fi or on the list on the bulletin board. There are separate lists for those coming by bus or car. You can pay cash or by MobilePay 47373 with the message “bus trip Turku”.

We will celebrate the titular feast of our parish on Sunday, 20^th of August. It is a spiritual event when God gives his special blessing to those who are in the state of grace and attend the Holy Mass in our church.
