The feast of the dedication of St. Henry’s cathedral will be celebrated on Monday 12.9.

The exaltation of the Holy Cross feast will be celebrated on Wednesday 14.9.

There will be a one-day charismatic Bible Conference in English in continuation of the program “Encounter with Jesus” on the 24th of September from 9.00 – 16.30 led by Fr. Jose Palliyil VC and team from Divine Retreat Centre, Kent, UK. The Bible Conference includes preaching, beautiful songs, Holy Mass and healing adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on Thursday. There will be Mass in English at 8 am and Mass in Finnish at 6 pm.

There will be an event called “Walk for life” on Saturday 10.9 at 2 pm. The gathering point is at the Senate Square in Helsinki and the walk will end at the Finnish Parliament. The purpose of the walk is to defend the life of unborn children.

There will be Mass in Hyvinkää, in the Old church on Saturday 10.9 at 4 pm.

Sunday Mass in English especially for Catholics from Africa will be celebrated in the Lutheran Kallio church at 12.00 beginning on Sunday 11th of September 2022.

Emeritus bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will celebrate the Holy Mass on Sunday 4.9 at 10 am and new members will be accepted into the Catholic Church.

There will be Mass in Finnish in Espoo, Olari chapel, on Sunday 4.9 at 4 pm.

Celebrations during the following week: the memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Monday 22.8, the feast of St. Apostle Bartholomew on Wednesday 24.8, the memorial of St. Monica on Saturday 27.8.

The morning Mass will be celebrated on weekdays at 8 am. There will be a morning prayer at 7.30 and Mass at 8 am in Finnish on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Morning Mass in English will be celebrated on Tuesday and Thursday at 8 am. There will be Mass at 10 am and 6 pm on Saturday.

An ecumenical procession in Espoo will take place on Saturday 27.8. Starting in Aurora Chapel at 10.00 and ending with a Catholic Mass at 16.00 in the Ecumenical Centre on Myllyjärventie. More information on the notice board.

We invite children from 5 to 8 years old to a Sunday school in Finnish. The meeting will take place on Sunday 28.8 at 10 am in the parish hall. There will be the Holy Mass in Finnish for children at 11.30 am.

The blessing of the school children will take place on Sunday 28.8 during the Mass in Finnish at 11.30. Children can bring school items for blessing.

The plenary indulgence is granted (under the usual conditions of a sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and a prayer for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff) to the faithful who, on the titular feast of our parish (14th of August 2022), in a spirit that is completely detached from the affection for a sin, even a venial sin, recite the Our Father and the Creed, and also adding a devout prayer (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you!).

We invite all 9 years old children to the First Communion Classes in Finnish on Saturday 20.8 at 10 am. There will be also First Communion Classes in English.

There will be Mass in Vietnamese on Sunday 21.8 at 11.30 am and Mass in German at 2.30 pm.
