The world mission day is celebrated on Sunday 18th of October. We pray for missionary work of the Church and we have a collection for the Missions.

The chaplain of St. Mary’s parish, Fr. Zenon Strykowksi SCJ has tested positive for coronavirus on Monday 12th of October 2020. Fr. Strykowski and Fr. Rafal Czernia SCJ have entered isolation. Let us pray for their quick recovery. Morning Masses on weekdays have been cancelled. We thank Fr. Ryszard, Fr. Stanislaw and other priests who continue the pastoral work in our church during this difficult time.

We request that everyone present in the church will wear a face mask during all Masses and events. A priest will give Holy Communion first to those wishing to receive it in the hand, and only after that to those receiving on the tongue.

There will be First Communion classes in Finnish next Saturday, 24.10 at 10 am in the parish hall.

Children’s Sunday school in Finnish will take place next Sunday 25.10 at 10 am in the parish hall and the Mass in Finnish for children will start at 11.30 am.

Masses in St. Mary’s church will be celebrated according to the schedule by other priests. Morning Masses on weekdays have been cancelled.

The celebration of Bishop Teemu Sippo’s SCJ, fr. Stanislaw Szymajda’s and fr. Rafal Czernia’s SCJ religious vows’ anniversary scheduled on Thursday 15th of October at 6 pm has been postponed.

The morning Masses will be celebrated in Finnish on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 am and on Saturdays at 9.30 am.

Bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ and fr. Stanislaw Szymajda will celebrate their 50th anniversary of the religious vows and fr. Rafal Czernia SCJ will celebrate his 25th anniversary of the religious vows on the next Thursday (15.10) at 6 pm.

The commemoration of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque will be celebrated on Friday.

There will be the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with prayers in English on the next Saturday, 17.10, from 3.30 pm till 5 pm as the continuation of the Bible Conference “Encounter with Jesus”.

October is a month dedicated to the Rosary prayer. We pray the Rosary in our church after the evening Holy Mass on weekdays and on Sundays at 5.30 pm in English. We encourage all parishioners to pray the Rosary at home especially with your families.

The feast of Saint Bridget, Patron of Europe will be celebrated on Wednesday, 7.10.

The memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary will be celebrated on Thursday, 8.10.

The feast of archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael will be celebrated on Tuesday, 29.9.

October is a month dedicated to the Rosary prayer. We pray the Rosary in our church after the evening Holy Mass on weekdays and on Sundays at 5.30 pm in English. We encourage all parishioners to pray the Rosary at home especially with your families.

There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the first Friday of the month to honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the evening Mass and will end at midnight.

The Holy Mass will be celebrated in Karjaa, in St. Catharina church, on the next Saturday, 3.10, at 2 pm.

There will be a classic music concert “A ballad for the Autumn” in our church on the next Saturday at 4 pm. Meelis Milli will play the violin.

Bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will celebrate the Holy Mass in our church at 10 am on the next Sunday, 4.10, and will give the sacrament of confirmation to our youth.

There will be Mass in Espoo, Olari chapel, on the next Sunday, 4.10, at 4 pm.
