Bishop Raimo Goyarrola will perform a canonical visitation in our parish on the 21st and 22nd of February. Let us remember in our prayers this event. If needed we will organise an opportunity to meet personally the bishop. Please contact the parish office.
We will celebrate the Presentation of the Lord feast on Monday, 2nd of February. It is also a day of consecrated life. There will be Mass in Finnish at 7.30 am and 6 pm. Please bring candles on that feast as there will be a blessing of candles at the beginning of the Mass.
There will be a Catechism class for adults on Tuesday 3.2. after the evening Mass in the parish hall.
There will be a meeting for pre-teens of age from 9 to 12 on Wednesday 4.2. at 5.30 pm in the parish hall. The group gathers on the first and third Wednesday of a month.
The praesidium of the Legion of Mary gathers every Thursday after the evening Mass in the parish hall.
There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday 6.2 in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the evening Mass and will last till 10 pm.
Mass in Hyvinkää will be celebrated on Saturday 7.2 at 4 pm in the Old church (Vanha kirkko).
We invite children from 5 to 8 years old to a Sunday school in Finnish. The meeting will take place on Sunday 8.2. at 10 am in the parish hall.
You can bring to the church palm branches which were blessed last year on the Palm Sunday.
