This year, the parish of St Mary celebrates the 70th anniversary of its foundation. A committee will be set up to organize events to mark the anniversary. We invite parishioners to participate both in the work of the committee and in the organization of the events. The committee will meet on the 21st May after the evening Mass in the parish hall.
The Legion of Mary group gathers on Mondays after the evening Mass in the parish hall.
We will celebrate the commemoration of St. Joseph on Wednesday 1.5. There will be Mass in Finnish at 10 am. There will be no Mass in the evening.
There will be an organ music concert on Thursday 2.5 at 7 pm.
The feast of the Apostles St. Philip and James will be celebrated on Friday 3.5.
There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday 3.5 in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the evening Mass and will last till 10 pm. The Charismatic group and the Lay Dehonians will lead the prayers.
There will be a meeting for the youth on Saturday 4.5 at 6 pm in the parish hall.
Our parish will organize a summer camp for youth aged 13-19 in Sastamala and Tampere from the 6th till 9th June 2024. Participation fee 100 EUR (incl. transportation). More information about the camp and registration: https://nuortenilta.scj.fi/kesaleiri2024/
