The diocesan feast will be held this year in Lohja on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence’s Church (Pyhän Laurin kirkko) at 11:00 AM, after which the program will continue at Vivamo (Vivamontie 2, 08200 Lohja). Our parish is organizing bus transportation. The bus departs at 9:30 AM from in front of the church, and the return trip from Vivamo is at 3:30 PM. The price is 30 euros. Children aged 4–16 are 15 €/person, and children under 4 years old are free. A small fee will be requested for the meal at Vivamo. The introductory course to Lay Dehonians begins on August 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM for all those interested in the spirituality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month until May. The English course will be online and on site in Turku. More information is available at scj.fi.

Masses will be celebrated according to the summer schedule from Monday, June 8th until August 15th: on weekdays, there will be only an evening Mass at 6 pm—in Finnish on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and in English on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There will be no children’s Mass on Sundays.

A novena preparing for the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus begins on Wednesday, June 3rd. On weekdays, the novena is prayed after the evening Mass; on Saturday and Sunday, it is prayed after the 10:00 AM Mass. On the eve of the Feast of the Sacred Heart, an all-night adoration will begin. There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday 5.6. in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the evening Mass and will last till 10 pm.

The solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ will be celebrated on Sunday 7.6. There will be an Eucharistic procession after the 10 am Mass. The procession will go through Mäntytie to the English school, then Kuustie to the Valpurin park (Valpurinpuisto) and will return to the church through the Tukholmankatu. There will be no Mass at 11.30.
