Holy Mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence’s Church (Pyhän Laurin kirkko) at 11:00 AM, after which the program will continue at Vivamo (Vivamontie 2, 08200 Lohja). Our parish is organizing bus transportation. The bus departs at 9:30 AM from in front of the church, and the return trip from Vivamo is at 3:30 PM. The price is 30 euros. Children aged 4–16 are 15 €/person, and children under 4 years old are free. A small fee will be requested for the meal at Vivamo. The introductory course to Lay Dehonians begins on August 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM for all those interested in the spirituality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month until May. The English course will be online and on site in Turku. More information is available at scj.fi.

We remind you to register your children for the First Communion preparation classes (3rd graders) – or for the Confirmation course (8th graders and older). Caritas wants to assist those taking part in the parish life in Finland across the entire country. Caritas would like to collect information about the support people need. The form can be accessed via the link, which can be found on the information board. The survey is open until August 16^th.

There will be a summer picnic for the Youth on Saturday, July 25th, at 3 pm in Valpurinpuisto (the park next to our church). The food will be provided and there will be some outdoor activities. After the picnic the youth will attend the Holy Mass at 6 pm and there will be Adoration after the Mass. All youth and interested people are welcome to the program. Masses will be celebrated according to the summer schedule from Monday, June 8th until August 15th: on weekdays, there will be only an evening Mass at 6 pm—in Finnish on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; and in English on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There will be no children’s Mass on Sundays.

On the eve of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thursday, June 11th, an all-night Adoration will begin. We kindly ask those who would pray throughout the night to sign their names on the list on the notice board.

The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is on Friday, June 12th. Mass will be at 7:30 in English and at 6 pm in Finnish.
