The Catholic charismatic encounter “My Words Are Spirit and Life” takes place here at St. Mary’s on Saturday 3 October from 1 pm. The programme includes praise, teaching on hearing God’s voice, peaceful adoration, and Mass at 6 pm. Registration link is on the parish website — everyone is warmly welcome.

There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday 4.9. in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the evening Mass and will last till 10 pm.

Open Doors Day is celebrated in our church on Saturday, September 5th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The program includes a photo exhibition, coffee service, a Q&A session at 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, midday prayer in Latin at 12:00 PM, a presentation by Caritas, and product sales. Volunteers are needed for baking, making coffee, cleaning, and organizing. Sign-ups at the office.

There will be a concert in our church “Ave Maris Stella” presented by the choir Capella Sanctae Mariae on Saturday 5^th of September 2026 at 7.15 pm.

Ryszard Mis SCJ will celebrate his 80^th birthday on the 6^th of September 2026 at 10 am Mass in our church and it will be followed by the reception in the parish hall.

On the titular feast of our parish God gives spiritual gifts to those who are in the state of grace and attend the Holy Mass and receive the Communion in our church.

The morning Mass will be celebrated on weekdays at 7.30 am. There will be a morning prayer at 7.00 and Mass at 7.30 am in Finnish on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Morning prayer and Mass in English will be celebrated on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30 am.

The introductory course to Lay Dehonians begins on August 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM for all those interested in the spirituality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month until May. The English course will be online and on site in Turku. More information is available at scj.fi.

Welcome to the youth days organized by Juventus Catholica! The youth days will be held at the Ahtela camp center in Sauvo from August 21st to 23rd, 2026. Expect togetherness, growing in faith, and enjoying the Finnish summer in the wonderful landscapes of Sauvo. Price: €50. The event is open to all young people aged 14–28, regardless of their faith. World Youth Day will be held next year in August 2027 in Seoul, South Korea. The Catholic Diocese of Helsinki is organizing a joint group. Registration is now open. Further information and the registration link can be found on the diocese’s website.
