- The Legion of Mary meets on Mondays after evening Mass in the parish hall. Meetings are in English and open to newcomers.
- The weekday evening masses will be celebrated in Finnish this week.
- On Wednesday July 3 we will celebrate the feast of St. Thomas the Apostle. Evening Mass is at 6 pm.
- On Friday July 5, there will be no long adoration after evening mass!
- On Sunday July 7, at 11:30 am, there will be a Holy Mass in Vietnamese.
- On Saturday July 13 the parish will organize an excursion to Suomenlinna for teenagers. The youth will gather at 10 am at Kauppatori (Market Square). The theme of the day is God’s love and providence. The programme includes a picnic and social games (such as mölkky). In the middle there is our new vicar, Fr. Vincent SCJ.
- Last Thursday we got a new vicar from Vietnam, Fr. Vincent Thoan Do SCJ. At the same time he became a new member of the community of the Priests of the Sacred Heart in Helsinki. Let’s welcome him and pray for him!
- On Monday we celebrate the Solemnity of the Birth of John the Baptist. Evening mass in Finnish at 6 pm.
- The Legion of Mary gathers every Monday after evening mass in the parish hall.
- On Thursday June 27, there is an English-language Catechism class for adults in the parish hall. The group reads and discusses the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
- On Saturday June 29, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. However, due to the summer schedule, the mass of that Solemnity is not celebrated in our parish. Evening Mass at 6 pm is the vigil Mass for Sunday.
- There will be no morning Masses in our church till the middle of August. The evening Masses on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be celebrated in English.
There will be a charismatic prayer group meeting on Wednesday 12.6 at 7.15 pm in the parish hall.
There will be a Bible sharing group meeting on Thursday 13.6 after the evening Mass in the parish hall.
Parish priest fr. Rafal Czernia SCJ will celebrate his 50th birthday on Sunday 16.6 during the Mass at 10 am. The church coffee will take place in the parish hall after the Mass.
There will be no Mass in Vietnamese on Sunday 16.6.
There will be a one day preteen’s retreat “Encounter with Jesus” for children from 9 till 12 years old. The retreat will take place in the Holy Cross parish in Tampere on the 15th of June from 10 to 3 pm. Details on the bulletin board.
Welcome to the pilgrimage to Köyliö – a place of the martyrdom of St. Henry. Walking pilgrimage starts on the 14th of June. The Mass will be celebrated there on the 16th of June at 1 pm. More information on the bulletin board.
