We cordially thank everyone who helped realize the Holy Week liturgy. Our thanks go to the sacristans, the cantor, the choir, the altar servers, and the readers. We also thank those who took care of the flowers in the church and the parish hall.
The entire coming week belongs to the Easter Octave.
On the Easter Monday (April 6): Holy Mass will be held in Finnish at 10:00 AM, in Vietnamese at 11:30 AM, and in English at 6:00 PM (18:00).
We invite all couples planning to be married to a marriage course starting Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 6:45 PM in the parish hall. The course consists of seven meetings and will be conducted in both Finnish and English.
The meeting for Lay Dehonians is on Thursday, April 9, in the parish hall following the evening Mass.
The Legion of Mary group meets every Thursday in the parish hall after the evening Mass.
The group will meet on Friday, April 10, in the parish hall after the evening Mass.
First Communion classes in Finnish continue on Saturday, April 11, starting at 10:00 AM. Confirmation classes begin at 3:00 PM (15:00).
The Feast of Divine Mercy will be celebrated on Sunday, April 12. In 1935, Saint Faustina Kowalska received a request from Jesus to spread faith and trust in His Divine Mercy throughout the world—and Jesus shared what and how we should pray. On Divine Mercy Sunday, a plenary indulgence can be obtained if one goes to Confession and receives Holy Communion on that day, and prays for the intentions of the Pope. An indulgence partially or fully removes the temporal punishment for sins already forgiven in sacramental confession, which would otherwise be served in Purgatory.
Sunday School for children is on Sunday, April 12, at 10:00 AM in the parish hall. This will be followed by a Children’s Mass in the church at 11:30 AM.

The Holy Week begins on the Palm Sunday. During the Holy Week we celebrate the mysteries of our Lord’s passion, death and resurrection, the central events of our salvation. Let us attend these celebrations with special devotion:
It is very important, that every Catholic will attend the sacrament of confession before Easter.
