1. The Praesidium of the Legion of Mary meets on Monday after evening Mass in the parish hall. Meetings are in English and open to every Catholic who wants to grow in holiness and do apostolic work.
2. The evening Masses on Tuesday and Thursday will be celebrated in English this week
3. Fr. Martti’s summer vacation will begin on July 17. At the same time our parish priest Fr. Rafal will return to work.
4. We invite all parishioners who read the Bible in Finnish to participate in a marathon reading of the New Testament for spiritual renewal in Finland and around the world. The event will take place via Zoom from 26-27 July. Each participant can choose a 30-minute reading time. The last day to register is Sat 20 July. More information on the announcement board.

4. On Saturday July 13 the parish will organize an excursion to Suomenlinna for teenagers. The youth will gather at 10 am at Kauppatori (Market Square). The theme of the day is God’s love and providence. The programme includes a picnic and social games (such as mölkky). In the middle there is our new vicar, Fr. Vincent SCJ.

1. Last Thursday we got a new vicar from Vietnam, Fr. Vincent Thoan Do SCJ. At the same time he became a new member of the community of the Priests of the Sacred Heart in Helsinki. Let’s welcome him and pray for him!
2. On Monday we celebrate the Solemnity of the Birth of John the Baptist. Evening mass in Finnish at 6 pm.
3. The Legion of Mary gathers every Monday after evening mass in the parish hall.
4. On Thursday June 27, there is an English-language Catechism class for adults in the parish hall. The group reads and discusses the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
5. On Saturday June 29, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. However, due to the summer schedule, the mass of that Solemnity is not celebrated in our parish. Evening Mass at 6 pm is the vigil Mass for Sunday.
6. There will be no morning Masses in our church till the middle of August. The evening Masses on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be celebrated in English.
