October is a month dedicated to the Rosary prayer. We pray together the Rosary before the English Mass at 5.30 pm. We encourage to pray the Rosary in our church after the evening Holy Mass on weekdays and to pray the Rosary at home especially with your families.

There is no more restrictions on gathering. We encourage parishioners to attend the Holy Mass on site at the church. The Holy Mass and other events can be attended only in good health and with good hand hygiene. The use of a face mask is strongly recommended.

The commemoration of St. Francis of Assisi will be celebrated on Monday 4.10.

The feast of Saint Bridget, Patron Saint of Europe will be celebrated on Thursday 7.10.

The memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary will be celebrated on Friday 8.10.

Emeritus bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will celebrate the Holy Mass and will receive the new members into the Catholic Church on the next Saturday 9.10 at 10 am.

There will be Mass in Karjaa, in St. Catherine church on the next Saturday 9.10 at 2 pm.

The First Communion Classes in English begin on the 3rd of October at 10.30 in St. Henry’s parish hall.

The Confirmation Classes in English begin on the 2nd of October at 3 pm in St. Henry’s parish hall.

The Holy Mass will be celebrated in Karjaa on the next Saturday (25.9) in St. Catharine church at 2 pm.

We invite children from 5 to 8 years old to a Sunday school in Finnish. The meeting will take place on the next Sunday, 26.9 at 10 am in the parish hall. There will be Mass in Finnish for children at 11.30.

There will be an Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with prayers in English on the next Saturday (18.9) from 3.30 pm till 5 pm as the continuation of the Bible Conference “Encounter with Jesus”.

There will be morning Mass in English on Tuesday and Thursday at 8 am.

The feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on Wednesday 8.9. The Mass in Finnish will be held at 8 am and 6 pm.

There will be an event called “Walk for life” on the Saturday (11.9) at 1pm. The gathering point is at the Senate Square in Helsinki and the walk will end at the Finnish Parliament. The purpose of the walk is to defend the life of unborn children.

There will be a procession in honour of the Nativity of Our Lady and celebration of the Legion of Mary’s centenary on the next Saturday (11.9) beginning at 4.45 pm in our church.
