The guidelines for preventing the spread of corona virus will be updated from the beginning of September as follows:

only persons without any symptoms can participate in church’s activities and that hygiene and safety distances are maintained

if safety distances cannot be maintained, face masks are obligatory

registration for the Mass is mandatory

church coffees are not yet recommended

the conditions for participation : lack of symptoms – hygiene – safety distance – wearing a mask

there is still a dispensation from the Sunday Mass obligation, but it is important to keep the Lord’s day holy, for example by watching the Mass online, praying, reading the Bible

There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the First Friday of the month (4.9) which will begin after the evening Mass and will last till midnight.

Today is a fundraising to support Christians in the Holy Land. We can put our donations to the collection box at the back of the church on your right.

We invite children from 5 to 8 years old to a Sunday school in Finnish. The first meeting will take place on the next Sunday, 23.8 at 10 am in the parish hall. There will be Mass in Finnish for children on the next Sunday at 11.30 am with a blessing at the beginning of the school year.

There will be a liturgy in Ukrainian language on the next Saturday, 22.8, at 12.00.

Our parish needs volunteers who know how to paint windows.

The solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on the next Saturday, 15.8. There will be Mass in Finnish at 9.30 am and 6 pm. There will be a procession in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary starting in the church at 4.30 pm and the Rosary at 5.30 pm.

We will celebrate the titular feast of our parish on the next Sunday, 16^th of August. During this spiritual event God gives his special blessing to those who are in the state of grace and attend the Holy Mass in our church.

We thank parishioners who helped last Saturday to maintain the yards around the church and started painting the entrance door to the parish hall.
