In November we will pray especially for all the faithful departed. Everyone is invited to write and send to us the names of your departed relatives and friends by email scj.helsinki@gmail.com. We will read these names in November during adoration and pray for them.

We pray the Novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help on Wednesdays after the evening Mass. You can write your prayers and intercessions and drop them into a slot in the porch of the church.

The Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland, archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo together with bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will celebrate Holy Mass in our church on the next Sunday, 28th of October at 12.45.

The Holy Mass in Hungarian will be celebrated in St. Henry’s cathedral on the next Saturday, 27th of October at 2.30 pm.

October is a month dedicated to the Rosary prayer. We pray the Rosary in our church after the evening Holy Mass on weekdays, on Sunday at 5.30 pm in English. We encourage all parishioners to pray the Rosary at home especially with your families.

The Holy Mass will be celebrated in Nummi-Pusula near Lohja on the next Saturday at 4 pm. Address: Sitarlantie 448.

The Holy Mass will be celebrated in Karjaa, in St. Catharina church, on the next Saturday, 13th of October at 2 pm.

Bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will celebrate the Holy Mass in our church  on Sunday, 14th of October at 10 am and will give the sacrament of confirmation to our youth.

The Catholic bishops of the Nordic countries encourage all faithful to observe a fast on Friday, the 5th of October for the intention of the Church and the Holy Father. Remember to pray for the church and for the intentions of the Pope.

Every first Friday of the month is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will start after the evening Mass and will last till midnight. There is the schedule of the adoration on the information board.

Announcements

Pope Francis is visiting the Baltic countries in these days. He will arrive in Tallinn on Tuesday, the 25th of September. Those parishioners, who have provided needed information and paid the ferry ticket, have received by email the instructions and the pass to the Papal Mass.

The renovation of our church’s roof will begin on Monday, 24th of September and will last approximately three weeks.
