Those who will visit a graveyard and pray for the faithful departed from the 1^st until the 8^th of November can receive a plenary indulgence for the departed under the general conditions. In order to obtain it, the faithful must, in addition to being in the state of grace: have the interior disposition of complete detachment from sin, even venial sin; have sacramentally confessed their sins; receive the Holy Eucharist; pray for the intentions of the Pope.

In November we will pray especially for all the faithful departed. Everyone is invited to write and send to us the names of your departed relatives and friends by email scj.helsinki@gmail.com. We will read these names in November during adoration and pray for them.

We pray the Novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help on Wednesdays after the evening Mass. You can write your prayers and intercessions and drop them into a slot in the porch of the church.

The Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland, archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo together with bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will celebrate Holy Mass in our church on the next Sunday, 28th of October at 12.45.

The Holy Mass in Hungarian will be celebrated in St. Henry’s cathedral on the next Saturday, 27^th of October at 2.30 pm.

Bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ will celebrate the Holy Mass in our church  on Sunday, 14^th of October at 10 am and will give the sacrament of confirmation to our youth.

The Catholic bishops of the Nordic countries encourage all faithful to observe a fast on Friday, the 5^th of October for the intention of the Church and the Holy Father. Remember to pray for the church and for the intentions of the Pope.

Every first Friday of the month is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will start after the evening Mass and will last till midnight. There is the schedule of the adoration on the information board.
