There will be a Catechism class for adults on Tuesday 1.9. after the evening Mass in the parish hall.
The Legion of Mary group meets on Thursdays after the evening Mass in the parish hall.
A family club for parents and children aged 0-5 will meets at St Mary’s parish hall starting on Thursday, the 3rd of September. The meetings take place every Thursday from 10 to 12 o’clock. For more information, see the notice board.
There will be an adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Friday 4.9. in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The adoration will start after the evening Mass and will last till 10 pm.
Open Doors Day is celebrated in our church on Saturday, September 5th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The program includes a photo exhibition, coffee service, a Q&A session at 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, midday prayer in Latin at 12:00 PM, a presentation by Caritas, and product sales. Volunteers are needed for baking, making coffee, cleaning, and organizing. Sign-ups at the office.
There will be a concert in our church “Ave Maris Stella” presented by the choir Capella Sanctae Mariae on Saturday 5th of September 2026 at 7.15 pm.
Ryszard Mis SCJ will celebrate his 80th birthday on the 6th of September 2026 at 10 am Mass in our church and it will be followed by the reception in the parish hall.
We remind you to register your children for the First Communion preparation classes (3rd graders) – or for the Confirmation course (8th graders and older). Registration at the parish office (tel. 050 434 4260 or maria(ät)katolinen.fi). Courses in Finnish will begin on September 12, 2026 and courses in English on the 26th of September at 10 am.
